

Howard Everett Weaver, a beloved resident of Oceanside, California, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Irene, and is survived by a legacy of love through his son Ross (wife Tracy), grandchildren Mitchell, Carly (husband Justin), Ross Jr., Sierra (partner Bernardo), Celine (husband Claude), Isabella, Samuel, and Andrew. Additionally, Howard leaves behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of six great-grandchildren: Hunter, Riley, Logan, Jordyn, Dylan, and Dominic.
Howard was born in Ardenwald, Oregon in 1928 to Alfred and Martha Weaver. Growing up, he thrived in Escondido, California, graduating from Escondido Union High School in 1947. Howard valiantly served in the United States National Guard (Army) and heroically fought in the Korean War. His professional journey saw him as a licensed barber and a dedicated precision inspector for Garrett Air Research, meticulously inspecting elements of NASA equipment destined for space for a remarkable 33 years.
A multifaceted individual, Howard was an artist, musician, and avid golfer. Despite starting his painting journey at the age of 80, he created numerous beautiful pieces, showcasing his artistic talents. A man of faith, Howard held a deep belief in Jesus Christ, finding solace and strength in his Christian values.
In his final moments, Howard was surrounded by the love of his family. His memory will endure, and he will be interred at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, where he will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, love, and passion for life.
A graveside service for Howard will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054.
