He is preceded in death by his parents, Erlindo Oropeza and Enedina Oropeza, his sons, Alberto Oropeza and Jorge Oropeza.
He is survived by his wife, Amparo Oropeza, sons Jesus Oropeza, Jose Oropeza, Raul Oropeza, and Javier Oropeza, and daughters, Rosa Gutierrez and Imelda Oropeza.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm at Eternal Hills Chapel in Oceanside, California.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at Eternal Hills Chapel in Oceanside, California.
Jesus' final resting place will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
