He was born June 27, 1957 to Catarino Campos and Josefina Garcia in Tijuana, Baja California Mexico. He grew up in Mexico and at age 16 he moved to California where he went to high school and graduated from Carlsbad high school in 1977. Followed by truck driving school. He was a truck driver for over 22 years. He was considered to be the “intelligent” one from his brothers and sisters. Always looking to strive in life. He loved working on cars, also enjoyed doing many handyman things for his friends and family. Jose also loved nature the outdoors and liked camping.
Jose is surveyed by his wife Josefina of 10 years. Daughter; Veronica Campos, Son’s; Jairo Campos and Oscar Campos. Sisters; Linda Calderon, Elsa Campos, Marina Campos, and Angelica Campos. Brothers; Lupe Campos, and Chuy Campos. Also by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jose was a loving, caring father, grandfather, husband, brother and a friend. He will be missed dearly and will always be in our hearts.
