Josh was a beloved twin brother of Ben and beloved younger brother of Gabe, son to Laurie and Barney. He was a talented artist and actor and excelled in the sports of wrestling and football. He won a state wrestling championship in 1996, his senior year in high school for Shaker Heights High, near Cleveland, Ohio. This earned him a full wrestling scholarship to Indiana University Hoosiers. He wrestled for them for 2 years and then transferred to wrestle for Cleveland State. He also earned his BA college degree in Social Sciences. He lived in Las Vegas for the past 10 years, where he was an extra in a number of movies and commercials and enjoyed playing poker. He enjoyed sci fi movies, comic book art, video games, history, philosophy, biographies, reading, music and learning as much as he could. He was compassionate and inquisitive and perceptive. He loved life and was a good friend and an excellent brother and son.
He passed away suddenly around March 27, 2025 in his apartment in Las Vegas. He was healthy and lively so this was completely shocking. He didn’t smoke or do drugs or drink.
He enjoyed walking around Fremont Street and taking in the sights and sounds.
Many people cared for him, from high school classmates to wrestling teammates to coaches and others. Many people are extremely sad to see his life cut short at the young age of 46. He will be extremely missed by all.
