Juana Estrada

Juana Estrada died on July 29, 2024 at 11:19 a.m. at her home in Oceanside after being under Hospice care for approximately 3 years. Her daughter-in-law, Maria Mercedes Gutierrez along with her son, Roberto Gutierrez, provided full-time care until her death. She was 94 years old. She passed away surrounded by her loving and supportive adult children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Juana raised three children, Roberto Gutierrez, Evelia Gutierrez de Fernandez, and Consuelo Gutierrez Estrada in Mexico. She immigrated to the United States later in her adult years and helped to raise her 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. She was known for her funny character and elegance.

She was born on November 20, 1929 in the state of Jalisco in the country of Mexico. She was married for several years before separating from the father of her children. She led a life rich in faith, love, and dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelina Pantoja and Manuel Estrada; and her siblings, Concepcion, Aurora, and Carmen Estrada. She is survived by her three children: Roberto Gutierrez, Evelia Gutierrez de Fernandez, Consuelo Gutierrez Estrada as well as all of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She now resides at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, CA. She will be deeply missed by her family members, but her legacy of love, faith, charm, and dedication will remain in their hearts forever.
