Laura May Rhoads

Laura Rhoads, our beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend, passed away peacefully on September 5. We are all so grateful for her 91 years, but she is missed so deeply. She lived to take care of her family and

friends. She loved talking with everyone and truly cared about people. Everyone she knows will miss her caring, attention and sweet smile.She loved holidays because it was a time to reach out to everyone.

She loved sending cards for Christmas, birthdays, and any other occasions. She wrote so many thank you notes because she was so grateful. It is hard to imagine that we will no longer receive her cards with her sweet, heartfelt messages.

Though her early life was filled with hardship, after high school she created a new life and then found her husband Homer. Laura then spent her life caring for her family and friends. She enjoyed getting to know everyone she met and loved sharing her life with them and listening to their life stories. Laura had a strong Christian faith which provided her great comfort. She had the highest moral values. She was incapable of dishonesty.

She lost her husband Homer earlier this year. She is survived by her children, in-laws, grandchildren and so many friends. It is hard to believe that our dear Laura is not here with us. She was so greatly loved. She will

certainly live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

All family and friends are invited to a Memorial service to be held at Eternal Hills Mortuary (1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside) on: Wednesday, Sept 20 at 1 pm followed by a reception.
