Lois Taylor Calhoun

The love of her life, Herb Calhoun, who she met in New Orleans in her early 20's swept her off her feet and all over as they ran health club organizations from Houston, to Anchorage to Vancouver and finally in Southern California. There, Lois settled and was very close to her only daughter, Glenda and three grandsons, Daniel, Zack and Taylor.

Always the hostess, Lois and her parties were not long forgotten. She was also very involved in her church - Hope Church in Vista.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Griffin Rogers with her husband, Brian. Her three grandsons, Daniel, Zack and Taylor Griffin. Her sister and best friend - Gaynelle Taylor Henry. Her three nieces - Michelle Stromberg, Margaret Bujnoch and Theresa Ange-Ball. And her maltese - Lady.

Lois and the family would like to thank Rocio and Araceli Sanchez who were caretakers for Lois and Herb for the last 20 years and have truly become part of the family.

Lois left her body on July 10, 2021 in Carlsbad, California.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 9am-11am at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California.

A Graveside Service will be held following the Viewing at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California at 11:15am

Celebration service at Hope Church on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 2 pm.

She will be deeply missed and supremely celebrated.
