Lorraine Grow Woody

Lorraine (Lori) Grow Woody, 91, recently of Bend, Oregon, passed away on July 19,2022, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born to the late Ethan and Sadie (Davis) Grow, November 6, 1930 in Royal, Utah, growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married Robert E. Miller and together with their daughters they moved to Southern California and soon divorced. As a successful business woman in real estate, Lorraine raised her daughters on her own. As her daughters were starting their own lives, she married the late Harold Woody, in Big Bear, California. Lorraine always loved adventures and together with Hal they enjoyed traveling. Some of their highlights were skiing in Austria, and traveling to Greece and Turkey. Lorraine was happiest when she was with her family. She always loved her first cup of coffee in the morning, puppies and her cat Jack.

She is survived by her daughters, Laurie (Tim) Bisby, Bend, OR, Robyn Miller, Newport Beach, CA, and Judi McKillop, Big Bear, California. Hal's three sons, Dave, Doug, and Brett Woody. Five grandchildren, Judi (Paul) Jaasko, Sunsarah Bisby, Timothy Bisby, Dustin Miller, Rosie (Dan) Harshman and Shannon (Craig) Woody Vanderwall. She was known as Great-Great to her great grandchildren, Shanne (Kyle) Emge, Wyatt Payne, Sophie Payne, Oliver Bisby, Marcus Miller Rock, and Chloe Vanderwall. She is also survived by her sister's Phyllis Douglas and Vicki Martin and their children and grandchildren. Lorraine is preceded in death by her loving husband in 2003, and her cherished grandson Dustin Miller
