Magdalena M Guerra

Magdalena “Ita” Guerra, 82, of Carlsbad has gone to be reunited with her husband Jesus Guerra in Heaven. She was born to Juan Morales and Domitila Sianez on Oct 29, 1932 in Parral, Chihuahua.
A wife, a mother, a grandma too. She taught us love and how to fight. She gave us strength, she gave us might. She fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a mother, not just as a grandmother. Now the time has come for her to rest. So go in Peace, Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep.
She was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Church in Carlsbad. She worked for Frazee Flowers in Oceanside for more than 40 years.
Family and friends were Magdalena’s love and joy. She loved to watch her Chargers play on Sundays.
Magdalena is survived by 1 brother and 4 sisters. Daughters: Sheila Hernandez, Olga Chavez. Sons: Ramon, Danny, Jesus Jr, Tony and Ruben Guerra.
10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation at 4-9pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, CA. Rosary at 7pm.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Thursday, Jan 15,2015 at St. Patrick’s Church in Carlsbad.
Funeral Service will be held at Eternal Hills after church services.
A reception to follow.
