Maria Rosario Aparicio

Maria Rosario Aparicio, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1940 to Ramon Aguilar and Julia Guitron. Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a loving wife to her husband and best friend Miguel Aparicio, Sr. They shared 63 years of marriage.

Maria not only loved her children but devoted her life to help raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During the Christmas holidays, Maria loved family togetherness and the family tradition of making tamales. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by Ramon Aguilar (father), Julia Guitron (mother), Ramon Aparicio (son).

Maria is survived by her spouse Miguel Aparicio, Sr.; four children: Micaela Aparicio, Estela Gibson (Tracy Gibson), Hilda Aparicio, and Miguel Aparicio, jr. (Laura Aparicio); grandchildren: Nathan Highfill (Heather), Anthony Gibson, Michael Aparicio (Tess), Alexis Guerra (Alex), Kimi Fredricks (Brent), and Naomi Aparicio Williams; great-grandchildren: Baylee, Bentlee, Amithyste, Indigo, Adriel, Isaac, Myles, and Weston.

Viewing, funeral service, and burial will be held at Eternal Hills, Oceanside, CA. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services and burial are scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00pm. Immediately following the burial there will be a reception for family and friends at 423 Gail Dr., Vista CA 92084.
