Maria was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Curtis Smith.
She is survived by her husband, John Curtis Smith, sons, Jesse Partida-Smith, John Noah Smith, Isaia Daniel Smith, grandson, Joshua John Nelson, grandaughter, Savannah Josey Smith-Ortiz, grandson, Noah John Smith, relatives, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Eternal Hills Memorial Chapel in Oceanside, California.
Mrs. Smith's final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
