Merle Dwight Boulet

Merle is survived by his wife of 60 years Evangeline (Angie), children Evelyn Boulet, Leona & Chris Rubidoux, Diana (Didi) & Albert Gerhardt, Marilyn (meme) & Danny Montanez, Gregory Boulet, Romero Rodriquez, Tracey Gartley, 13 Grandchildren; Nicholas, Christopher, Daniel, Alexander, John, Brittney, Tori, Ryan, Samantha, Gregory Jr., Marcus, Myriah, Troy, 3 Great-grandchildren; Dillon, Isabella, and Enrique, nieces, nephews and extended family. Merle is preceded in death by his son Abraham Boulet.

Merle loved and served his country as a Marine for 20 years. Merle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He was proud of his wife, children and grandchildren and boast of them all the time. Merle had a loving and giving heart, he considered all the children in the neighborhood his own. He was an excellent provider and shared his shelter with anyone who needed it. Merle loved boxing, sports and exercising. He will be missed beyond words; Heaven has received a gentle and loving leader! We will all be together soon Dad!

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at 2:00pm at St. Mary Star of the Sea , 609 Pier View Way, Oceanside, CA 92054. Reception to follow at 604 Capistrano Dr., Oceanside, CA 92058.
