Michael Louis Brucker

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann Brucker; his son, Michael John Brucker M.D.; daughter, Jeri Lynn Milanovich; five grandchildren, Aaron Michael Brucker (11), Ella JoAnn Milanovich (9), Aidan Scott Brucker (9), Julia Lauren Brucker (7) and Ava Louis Milanovich (6); his sister Ellen Louise McIntosh; many in-laws and friends; and his beloved dog, Francie.

Born on May 26, 1939 in Bryn Mawr, PA, Mike was the son of Louis Michael Brucker and Dorothy Ellen Sherk. Mike attended the Automation Institute of San Jose where he studied computer systems design in 1963. This began a 20 year career working for FMC Corporation in both San Jose, CA and Portland, OR. In 1982, he went on to a build a second career as a business owner servicing the construction industry.

Mike and Barb were married in 1965 in San Jose. They moved to Oregon in 1979 where they lived and raised their family for almost 30 years. In 2008, they settled in Fallbrook, CA.

Mike was a talented craftsman and an avid classic car collector. He loved to watch movies and Padres games as well as camping and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory can be made to The Elizabeth Hospice (elizabethhospice.org) or The American Cancer Society. The family of Michael Louis Brucker would like to thank The Elizabeth Hospice for their support during this difficult transition.
