

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Khatib, a distinguished classical violinist, who departed from this world on November 20, 2023. Born on May 1, 1935, Michael's life was an extraordinary journey filled with a passion for music that resonated around the globe. Michael Khatib, a virtuoso violinist, began his musical journey at the early age of nine, honing his skills and dedicating his life to the art of classical music. He rose to prominence as a member of the Tehran Philharmonic, captivating audiences with his exceptional talent and contributing significantly to the cultural landscape of his homeland. Michael's musical prowess extended far beyond the borders of Iran, as he embarked on numerous international tours with the Tehran Philharmonic, leaving
an indelible mark on audiences worldwide. His masterful performances and commitment to his craft earned him the admiration and respect of fellow musicians and music enthusiasts alike.
In addition to his musical achievements, Michael was known for his warm and generous spirit. His love for his family, friends, and colleagues was evident in the kindness and encouragement he shared with those around him. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael Khatib will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Dignity Memorial Chapel 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, Ca 92054.
