Michele Elizabeth Stockham

Michele was known for her love of life, her children and family, dance, and mostly of her faith in her heavenly father, Jehovah. Her last few months were spent in full-time ministry, telling others about God's Kingdom and Heavenly Government soon to rule on earth, and that a better world is near. She was always comforted by her spiritual brothers and sisters of her congregation, and her reading of the Bible.

Michele spent a 'short' twenty-five years working for the US Postal Service. But her true passion was dance. Her love of dance proved so great that she started, owned and operated her own dance studio called Shake It Up Dance Studio. She taught various forms of dance to many appreciative local students, culminating in several live performances in local theaters in the San Diego area.

Michy possessed a selfless quality about her - compassionate and non-judgmental, she was able to impart advice and counsel to those who loved her, with an incredible depth of wisdom. She was often the calming voice amidst the chaos, and a comfort to so many.

Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Annie Garbe, and her nephew Trevor. She was loved and will be missed by her husband of forty five years, Jeff Stockham, her children Danielle Caputo and husband Chris, Jason Bauer and wife Sheri, Elizabeth Price and husband Shaun, Jeffrey J. Stockham, and stepson Jaime Fontenot; her 'older' younger brother Michael and wife Carol and their children Kelly and Evan, her younger sister Mary Buckley and husband Bob and their children Kyle and Jessica. She leaves behind nine wonderful grandchildren and two great grandchildren who became her world, cherishing them immensely.

She is sorely missed but certainly not forgotten.
