

July 23, 1926, and married Clabern Banks Hill on January 1, 1950.
Mildred had 7 brothers and sisters including Wesley, Roy, Dorothy, Norma, Virginia, Delma and George, all of who have preceded her in death. Stepdaughter, Francine Jackson of Colorado is also deceased. Surviving Mildred are her stepson, Donald G. Hill and wife Dianne of Sugar Land, Texas. Mildred had 3 loving grandchildren, Bryan David Hill (and spouse Liliana) of Sugar Land, TX; Courtney Diane Hill Pugh (and spouse Lewis) of League City, Texas, and Tony Cominiello of Monument, Colorado.
She obtained her teaching credentials from Colorado State College of Education in Greeley, Colorado, and later obtained her Masters degree in education in 1955. Clay and Mildred moved to Carlsbad, California, where she lived most of her life. She taught at Mira Costa University in California until she retired in 1985. Millie was a volunteer at heart, serving in PEO, and with the Tri City Hospital Auxiliary for more than 12,000 hours of service until she retired in 2019. She received recognitions for her devotion to education and volunteer service. In 2022 she moved to Sugar Land, TX to be with her family.
