

Odell was born on August 22. 1933 to Otis and Lula Mae Clark in Covington County, Mississippi.
On December 15. 2019 at the time of his passing he resided in Carlsbad, California.
Odell joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1952 and served HONORABLE for 31 years. During that time he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, and Good Conduct Medal w/8, Korean Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, and Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation.
Odell retired from the Marines 1976 and worked as a bailiff at Vista Correctional Center for 7 years.
Odell Clark was a WELL LIKED MAN who enjoyed playing his LOTTO, playing the slot machines at PALA Casino, fishing and playing RACKET BALL at 24 hour fitness and his Military buddies and his LOVE for Blues/RB music. He lived a long satisfying life, everyone who knew him will remember that SMILE.
Odell will be missed by a host of Family and Friends his Daughters Patricia Clark, Michelle Clark, His Granddaughter Simmone ‘’lil girl’’ Lashley his Great grandchildren Danaya, Soleil, Sydney, Samari, Serenity, Samad and Samir who loved him dearly. Family in Mississippi. Siblings who preceded him in death Bernice Clark, Lavern Langston and Cutis Clark and his former wife Delores J. Clark.
