

Patrick "Paddy" Hasinsky, 42 TEMECULA -- Patrick Michael Hasinsky passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010. He was born August 28, 1968 in Oceanside, Calif. He is the loving son of Patricia Collins and Simmon Hasinsky. Patrick graduated from El Camino High School in 1986. He attended Heavy Equipment Operator training from 1986 to 1988, and was certified in Heavy Duty Diesel Emissions Control, and ASE Certified in Hydraulic Antilock Braking Systems. He was a Diesel Technician for the Escondido Union High School District for 19 years, receiving Employee of the Year in 2001. He was recognized for his exemplary performance in maintaining the highest maintenance standards in the Transportation Department on April 20th, 2010. He received a perfect rating from the California Highway Patrol for exemplary service with the bus maintenance program in 2005, '07, '08, '09, and '10. Paddy's greatest passion was working. He also loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed attending concerts, listening to music, cooking and took pride in his home. He was truly "one of a kind!" He was known as tenacious by his employer, and devoted himself to leading people in the right direction. He took excellent care of those he loved. He will be truly missed by all who loved him. Patrick and Alicia were married February 14th, 1996 in San Marcos. he is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Hasinsky of Temecula; daughter, Melissa Taylor of Oceanside; son, Richard Perez III of Seattle, Wash.; and four grandchildren; mother, Patricia Collins of San Marcos; and father, Simmon Hasinsky of Vista. He is also survived by brothers, Ronald Hasinsky of Dubai, Michael Hasinsky of Hawaii, and Robert Hasinsky of Menifee; and sisters, Robin Santa Maria of Park City, Utah; Cheryl Matthews of Oceanside, and Mary Hasinsky of Menifee. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces; and several in-laws. A celebration of Life /Rosary will be held between 5p.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, Calif. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Parish in Oceanside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Patrick M.
