

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt whose kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Pat was the beloved wife of Robert Halliday, and the loving mother to Scott Halliday and his wife Dana, Laura Halliday and her husband James Willis, and Michael Halliday. She was Grandma to two cherished grandchildren: Andrew and Elizabeth. She was the daughter of the late Bertha and I.Douglass Reade. She was a sister to Donald Reade, Ronald Reade, “Bud” Reade, Roger Reade, Nancy Porter, Ruth Tucker, Jeffery Reade and the late Robert Reade. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Raised in Hingham and Holbrook, Ma, Pat was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Class of 1965, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Class of 1969.
Pat took great pride in her husband Bob’s lifelong commitment to the United States Marine Corps. Together, they raised their family in various locations where Bob was stationed—including Virginia, North Carolina, California, and Japan.
Pat enjoyed traveling with her family and creating lasting memories while visiting Alaska, Hawaii, Paris, Normandy, and Holland. In her younger years, she spent countless hours horseback riding. One of her most cherished places was Cape Cod, where she treasured the summers spent with family members.
As the family grew, Pat worked tirelessly and lovingly to create hand-sewed Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for each of her nieces, a gesture that spoke volumes about her care and creativity.
She also enjoyed Sudoku puzzles and playing Rummikub with her friends.
Pat will be remembered for her compassion, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed.
