Ricki Joe Lane

He worked diligently in construction for over 30 years, providing for his family. He had been working for Valley View Casino in Valley Center, CA, for over five years, where he was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved going fishing, smoking meats to perfection, riding his beloved motorcycle, trying new cuisines and restaurants, and watching his favorite team, the Los Angeles Chargers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lyndal Lane; his father, Lloyd Lane; and his half-brother, Aaron Miller.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Lane; his son, Joel Hager, and daughter-in-law, Samantha Hager; his grandsons, Joshua Hager and Jack Hager; his sister, Vicki Lane, and her partner, Jerry Bennett; his half-brother, Vaughn Miller; his sister-in-law, Andria Miller; his nieces and nephews, Shauna O’Banion and her husband Rick Karas, Rachael Bennett, JJ Bennett, DeAnn Miller, Aaron Miller, Camilla Miller, and Michaeline Deboard; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Glenn Swift, Gregory Swift, Trent Swift, Janalee Roper, and Renee Skilton; and his cousin-in-law, Mary Lane.

We are hosting a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Center Community Park, 28751 Cole Grade Rd, Valley Center, CA 92082, in Picnic Area 1.
