Roman Iccuatli Bassoco, aged 5, passed away on January 4, 2025, in San Diego, CA. Born on November 4, 2019, to parents Jessica Huerta and Fernando Bassoco, Roman was a beacon of joy and kindness in the lives of those around him.
Roman attended Mission Elementary School, where he was known for his cheerful nature and willingness to help others. He was a loving and caring boy, often described as having a heart of gold. Roman's sense of humor and readiness to lend a hand were evident in every aspect of his young life.
A passionate fan of music, Roman's favorite song was "Smack That" by Akon, which he insisted on listening to during daily routines, including while brushing his teeth. His love for music was only matched by his enthusiasm for baseball, a hobby that brought him immense joy and excitement.
Roman is survived by his mother, Jessica Huerta; father, Fernando Bassoco; and sister, Rosaliee Bassoco.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jose Miguel and Robert Ezekiel. As Roman would say, "Dab me up bro & Hop onnnn."
