As Silvia's clients we were devastated to hear the loss of such a wonderful person. She was a genuine and caring person. She was one of a kind!

Silvia, when I first came to your office.. I was scared!  My problems overwhemed me to the point I could not think or have courage enough to continue... single Mother, little money... no hope until I met you!...  you fought for me...!!!   like I was part of your family.. you said " do not worry about money...I sometimes take cases just to help.. no money involved!"...    I was so embarressed for the misery I put you through for more than a year.... You offered me not only free help and advice but most of all YOUR FRIENDSHiP!!   The most valuable lesson in my life.. good bye.. for now!   My dear friend...  until we meet again.. and we keep laughing together..  I love you.

I did not know Silvia well, but every time that I met her in the last few years, I was impressed by her warmth and grace. As an immigrant, I have the highest admiration for how she embodied the American Dream and for all the great work that she did for the immigrant community. I wish her peace and rest and will miss her, as will anyone who ever had the honor of getting to know her.
My love and heartfelt condolences go out to all her family and friends.

Silvia is in the arms of her Savior now. She is also in our memories as a caring, devoted friend. She was like a cousin to our daughters when we lived on Gail Dr. many years ago, and we stayed in touch because there was depth to those relationships. Silvia listened and shared authentically. Her love for her family was apparent in everything she said and did. She respected others and earned my respect because of who she was. I will miss Silvia. I know our world will miss her. Yet, she did so much good just by being herself and taking the risk to act on her beliefs, that our world is so much richer for her having been here. Silvia DID make a difference. I know she is hearing our Lord say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!"

My memories of Silvia are a child's memories. We played together, had sleep-overs, and shared our families.  Even at a young age, I knew that Silvia wasn't like other people.  She was kinder, wiser, and sweeter.  She could influence my sisters and me without being bossy.  She taught me about life, about people, and about friendship.  Silvia left her fingerprints of love on my heart.  Our world is a better place because of her.  I will miss you, Silvia.

Silvia was always one of the most genuinely wonderful people in all respects.  Words escape me to properly wish her farewell.  She was always all smiles, kind, intelligent, giving beyond anyone I have ever known.  The world was a better place with her in it. I give my gracious condolences and prayers to her dear family.
