She was born on August 7, 1933 in San Luis Rey, California. Married the love of her life Akira Chino in 1957 and lived in Vista.
Vera worked for Vista Unified school District as a Food Service Manager before retiring after 25 years.
She enjoyed watching her grandchildren sporting events and activities being with friends and telling jokes.
Preceded by her husband Akira of 51 years she is survived by her son Jimmy and wife Theresa, grandchildren Andrew and wife Jessica, Jamie and Anthony, all from Vista.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 10:00 AM , St. Francis Church 525 W. Vista Way Vista, California. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall.
Arrangements under the direction of Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary, and Crematory, Oceanside, California.
