

Funeral services for Arlene F. Jenner, age 80 of Washington Street in Ogdensburg, will be held on Thursday (February 19, 2015) at 6:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a time to be announced in the spring.
Calling hours will be held also on Thursday from 12:00-2:00pm & 4:00-6:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Jenner passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday (Feb 16, 2015).
Surviving are four sons Jeffrey (Ann) Jenner of TX, Jesse Jenner & companion Nancy Brown of Plattsburgh, Jamie Jenner & his companion Theresa Mayette of Lisbon, Joseph LeDuc & his companion Lisa Ghize of Ogdensburg; four daughters Jennifer (William) Frawley of Oswegatchie, NY, JoAnne (Jay) Foster of Ogdensburg, Janine (Jesse) Murray of Madrid, Justina LeDuc & her companion Gary Loffler of Florida; a brother Ernie LaRock and sister-in-law Izzy LaRock of Rochester; sisters Virginia Strunk and Shirley Myers and brother-in-law John Tearney all of KS; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Her husband Roland Jenner; a son Jody Jenner; longtime companion Leo LeDuc; five brothers Carl, Clifford, Claude, Danny & Richard LaRock and three sisters Pat Paro, Rose Tearney & Margie Gallagher predeceased her.
Arlene was born on May 15, 1934 in Dekalb Jct NY, a daughter of the late Ernest & Minetta (McPhail) LaRock. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and later married Roland Jenner on Oct 20, 1951 the couple later separated and she again found love with her longtime companion Leo LeDuc. She was a member and past president of Acco UPI Local Union # 503 & the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the K of C Auxiliary, Ogdensburg Moose Lodge, Ogdensburg and Waddington Women’s Bowling League and St. Mary’s Cathedral Parish.
During her career she worked at the McConville Hotel, Hearth Stone, Bartended at area establishments, and was a machine operator with Acco Brands from 1969 to 1985 when she retired. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, sewing, collecting angels and bears and spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.
