Arnold C. St. Germain

Arnold died Sunday evening (Sept 18, 2011) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his family. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving are his sons Jack St. Germain & his wife Pat of Knoxville, IA, Dennis St. Germain of Ogdensburg, Dale St. Germain & his wife Sharon of South Carolina, Robert St. Germain of Ogdensburg, Richard St. Germain & his wife Lisa of Ogdensburg; nine grandchildren Richard, Elissa, Marceline, Brett, John, Steven, Amy Lynn, Chris & Brian along with great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.

A son Kevin St. Germain along with two brothers Richard & Harold predeceased him.

Arnold was born on July 6, 1929 in Redwood, NY, a son of the late John & Mary (Shampine) St. Germain. He attended Ogdensburg schools for his education and married Elizabeth ‘Betty” Fox on November 26, 1949 at the St. John’s Church in Prescott Ontario. She predeceased him on April 15, 2007.

During his career he was employed at Diamond National and then the City of Ogdensburg where he worked for the Highway Department for 35+ years. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his family.
