Arthur H. Parker

Funeral services for Arthur H. Parker III, age 53 of Ogdensburg will be held at 2:00 pm on December 15, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be at Cape Vincent Cemetery.

There will be no public calling hours. Mr. Parker passed away on Wednesday (Dec 10, 2014) at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home with his mother by his side.

Surviving is his mother Jane Parker of Brockville, Ontario; two children Charity Parker of TX and Christopher Parker of Auburn NY; a brother John Parker & his wife Kathy of Manlius NY; a sister Marjorie Parker of Ithaca NY and two grandchildren.

Art was born on June 8, 1961 in Watertown NY, a son of Arthur Jr. & Jane (Enches) Parker. He attended schools in Cape Vincent and graduated from Grenville Christian College in Brockville Ontario. He was employed as a glass installer for Northeastern Plate Glass in Binghamton prior to his motor cycle accident in 1998, which left him paralyzed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals and spending time with his children.
