Eileen B. Daniel

Funeral services for Eileen B. Daniel, age 82 of County Route 15 Heuvelton, will be held 11:00am Thursday (May 31, 2012) at the Christian Family Tabernacle in Kendrew with Pastor Ron Stiles officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rensselaer Falls Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (May 30, 2012) from 5-7pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniel passed away early Sunday morning (May 27, 2012) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Surviving is her husband Gilbert “Bud” Daniel; two sons Richard Gilmour & his companion Barb Judware of Brooksville, FL & Waddington, NY, Douglas Daniel & his companion Denise Peacock of Heuvelton; a daughter Lori (Daniel) Kelley & her companion Alan Hamilton of Heuvelton; 7 grandchildren Lisa Beldock & her companion Paul French of Madrid, Rebecca Kelley & her companion Michael Donnelly, Eric Kelley, Josh Daniel, Amy Hamilton, Megan Hamilton & Brandi Daniel all of Heuvelton; 3 great-grandchildren Nicholas & Colby Beldock and Owen Daniel. A brother Lorne Eustis predeceased her.

Eileen was born on April 15, 1930 in Ogdensburg, NY, daughter of the late Harold & Grace (Boyd) Eustis. She attended Rensselaer Falls School for her education, and a previous marriage to John Gilmour who was the father of Richard ended in divorce. She again found happiness with Gilbert “Bud” Daniel, and the couple was married on March 18, 1967.

She was a past member of the Oswegatchie Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed feeding the birds, listening to country music, family genealogy, gardening and spending time with her family.
