

Eleanor P. Conliffe, age 92, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Blue Bell, PA. Formally of Ogdensburg, she resided at Sunrise of Blue Bell near her grandchildren and great-grandchildren where she was dearly loved. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday (April 30, 2016) at the 1st Presbyterian Church with Rev. Laurena Will officiating. Her place of rest is Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving is her daughter, Karen Primeau Percy & husband A. Duane Cruttenden of Avon Park, FL; grandchildren James D. Percy & wife Caroline of Jacksonville, FL; Brett W. Percy of Harleysville, PA; Meredith A. Booz & husband Robert of Lansdale, PA; and Jonathan G. Percy & wife Michelle of Greensburg, PA; great-grandchildren Katie & Sarah Booz, Thomas Percy and David Percy.
Eleanor was born on August, 7, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late James and Minnie Brenno. She resided in Ogdensburg until her move to PA in 2014. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William C. Conliffe and her brother, Richard Brenno. Also, her love of dogs was always a part of her beloved family; especially Gypsy, Charlie and Rusty.
Eleanor graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and worked as a linotype operator for the Ogdensburg Journal. Before retiring in 1985, she was the Church Secretary for the First Presbyterian Church for 15 years. She was an active bowler and involved in many activities at her church, especially the Presbyterian Women’s Association. Her hobbies were reading, sewing, collecting bird & crystal figurines and music boxes. She made numerous holiday ceramics which she has left as treasures for her family.
She was interred at Foxwood Memorial Park on Monday, February 22. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg on April 30th at a time to be announced with Rev. Laurena Will officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 423 Ford Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.
