Gary J. Brown

Surviving are his children Todd (Jamie) Brown of North Carolina, daughters Tina Newcombe of Heuvelton, Tara Putney of Waddington and Tammy Aijii of Fircrest, WA; a step son Ernie Richmond of Tacoma, WA; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gary was born on May 10, 1946 in Gouverneur, a son of Russell & Hilda (Perrigo) Brown. He graduated from Heuvelton Central School and entered the US Air force on Sept 4, 1964. He received his honorable discharge on February 28, 1985 holding rank of Master Sergeant. He was later married to Karen Emwright on November 25, 1994. She predeceased him in 2012.

After retiring from the US Air force, Gary became a manager of the Dependable Building Maintenance in Tacoma, WA until 2006 when he retired again. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, playing poker, animals, camping, his hobby farm and spending time with his family. Gary was also a member of the Heuvelton Methodist Church where he will be sorely missed.
