Surviving is his long-time companion Dora Pearson of Ogdensburg and a sister Daryl Grimes & her husband Charlie of Brooklyn NY.
Glenn was born on November 21, 1949 in Brooklyn NY, a son of the late Howard & Lillian (Chambers) Smith. He attended Brooklyn Schools for his education, and later enlisted in the US Marine Corps from 1967 – 1971.
During his career he worked at a sales associate at AL’s Toyland in Brooklyn NY, a laborer in Manhattan, a valet assistant at the Las Vegas Casino and later became a counselor at a half-way house in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed playing video games, watching Star-Trek, models trains and playing chess.
