Linda R. Dagata-Kelley

Funeral services for Linda R. Dagata-Kelley, age 68 of the Five Mile Line Road Ogdensburg, and formerly of Camden, NY will be held on Sunday (Sept 6, 2015) at 5:00pm at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park St, Syracuse, NY 13208. Calling hours will be held also on Sunday from 2:00pm until the time of the service. Ms. Kelley passed away on Monday (Aug 31, 2015) at her home.

Surviving is her daughter Holli (Patrick) Caine of Wysox, PA; two brothers Larry (Brenda) Dagata of TN and Joseph (Patti) Dagata of CA; a sister Mary Hansen of GA; two grandchildren Michael & Laurin Caine and her companion Larry Simzer of Ogdensburg. She was predeceased by a brother Stephen Dagata, a sister Kay Fitzgerald and her husband Dr. William Kelley.

Linda was born on July 12, 1947 in Fulton NY, a daughter of the late Giuseppe & Barbara Dagata. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1966 and continued her education in Syracuse where she earned a dental assistant degree. Prior marriages to Ted Romas & Gregg Butts ended, but she later was re-married Dr. William Kelley. He predeceased her in 2000. During her career she was employed at Dr. Watson & Dr. Zdep dental office in Syracuse for 35 + years, retiring in 2013. She remained busy after retirement with providing home healthcare until 2015 when she moved to the North Country.

Linda was the 2006 Barrel NBHA Senior 4D Champion and a member of the Harmony Rider Association. She enjoyed gardening, her horses, barrel racing, going to horse shows, taking in stray animals, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
