Marjorie F Wright

Funeral services for Marjorie F. Wright, age 91 formerly of Waddington will be a private service at Fox & Murray Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. Rev. Noel Allen will be officiating. Burial will follow at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wright passed away late Saturday evening (May 16, 2015) at the Riverledge Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Surviving is her three sons James & his wife Sandra of Waddington, Richard of Tampa, FL and Ronald of Port Orange, FL; one sister Jeanne Marie Sharpe of Ogdensburg. Grandchildren: Stephanie & Rick Tidd of Cicero, NY; Lisa & Matthew Patire of Mahwah NJ; Andrew Wright of Syracuse, NY; Carrie Wright of Ogdensburg, NY; Kristie & John Sullivan of Potsdam, NY; Kevin & Elizabeth Wright of Syracuse, NY; Stacie & Robert O'Shea of Ogdensburg, NY; Adam Wright of Rochester, NY; and Evan Wright of Rochester, NY; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her son and daughter in law Robert & Christine Wright and brother George Duprey.

Marjorie was born on June 5, 1923 in Ogdensburg, NY a daughter of the late George & Helene(Coleman) Duprey. She attended St. Mary’s School until she turned 16. On January 17, 1942 she married J. Albert Wright he passed in 1997. She and her husband operated the family farm for a few years. She was a member of the OES Waddington Chapter, National Grange and the Waddington United Methodist Church. Her hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren, talking on the telephone and traveling to Florida.
