

Mildred A. TenEyck, a beloved, kind-hearted mother and grandmother, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 87. Mildred was a resident of Ogdensburg, and was cherished by her family and friends. Entombment will be at the Oswegatchie Mausoleum.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday (February 5, 2025) at 3:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral home with Reverend Ray Selden.
Mildred was born on July 9, 1937, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Floyd and Gertrude (Goult) Pinkerton. She attended Heuvelton Central School and later worked at Ames Department Store, Yankee One Dollar Store, and the UPS Store. Mildred enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, eating out, and attending Command Performance shows.
She married Gerald E. TenEyck on October 6, 1962, at the First Baptist Church in Ogdensburg, with Rev. Chester H. Whitt officiating. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Gerald in 1994, as well as her sister Ruth Bushey and a brother William Pinkerton.
Mildred is survived by her children, Gary (Brenda) TenEyck of Lisbon and Marilyn (Daniel) Barr of Ogdensburg; her siblings, Lillian LaRock of Ogdensburg and Gerald (Marie) Pinkerton of Heuvelton; her grandchildren, Brittaney (Kaleb) Bertrand, Felicia Barr and her companion Adam Lavigne, Jamie TenEyck, Laccie TenEyck and her companion Andrew Fonda; great-grandchildren, Kohl, Maccie, and Karter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Mashaw, Jackie and Hope from Hospice, and Betsy and Jane Barr for their care and compassion when Mildred needed it most.
