Funeral services for Pamela G. Austin, age 60 of Patterson Street in Ogdensburg will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday (Nov 18, 2015) at the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg with Pastor David Hart officiating. Pamela passed away on November 9, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Norfolk after declining health.
Surviving is her mother Elizabeth King of Ogdensburg; a daughter Diana Hurn of Norfolk; a brother Shane Austin of Ogdensburg; sisters Michelle Austin and Connie Brais both of Ogdensburg; a grandson John Hurn; friend John Lovely, along with several nieces, nephews & cousins. Her father Harry Austin and a brother Leo “Tuffer” Austin predeceased her.
Pamela was born on November 9, 1955 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Harry & Elizabeth (King) Austin. She received her education at Ogdensburg Schools and later married John Lovely which ended in divorce, but the couple remained friends.
During her career she was employed at Filtran in Ogdensburg and later at Walmart where she was a cashier until failing health.
She enjoyed playing on the dart league for the B-3, walks by the St. Lawrence River, her cats, reading and spending time with her grandson John. Condolences can also be shared online at www.foxandmurrayfuneralhome.com.
