

Patricia G. Geary, age 96, of Lisbon, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the United Helpers Canton Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a full and meaningful life, and will be remembered for her kindness, hard work, and devotion to her family and community.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home, with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the spring at White Church Cemetery.
Pat is survived by her husband, Roland; a son James (Sharron) Dow of Potsdam; two daughters, Nancy McCullough and her companion Tom Monteith of Lisbon, and Dawn Geary & her companion Leonard Putney of Lisbon; grandchildren Jodi Falardeau & her fiancee’ BJ Stevens of FL and Jeffrey Falardeau of FL, Pam Kelley of AZ, Michelle Warren of AZ and Jason Kelley of PA; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her two sons Timothy Dow and Michael Kelley; a sister, Barbara McBath; and a brother, Clinton "Pete" Green.
Pat was born on September 6, 1928, in Lisbon, NY, to Willard and Hortence (Harper) Green. She graduated from Lisbon Rural School and went on to receive a special trade’s degree from Oswego. A marriage to Benjamin Dow ended and she later married Roland F. Geary on November 23, 1966, at the Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
Pat worked for 23 1/2 years at BOCES teaching cosmetology, in addition to operating Pat’s Beauty Shop from 1948 until her retirement in 2001. She was an active member of the Zonta Club, the Order of Eastern Stars in Waddington, and the First Congregational Church of Lisbon. Pat enjoyed sewing, crafts, and especially visiting with family.
