

Surviving are three sons Bird Tate Jr. & His wife Leslie of Hammond, Charles Tate & his wife Shawnda of Lexington OK and Joseph Tate & his wife Erin Frost-Tate of Hammond; two daughters Rebecca Cummings & her husband Robbie of Sulphur OK and Felicia Krock & her husband Darren of Kenton OH; a brother Roger Ruegsegger & his wife Cindy of Linden CA; three sisters Roni Kennedy & her husband Dennis of Island Park ID, Trina Rubley & her companion Jeff Thomason of Lake Havasu AZ and Dena Wheaton & her companion Gary Moyer of Parker AZ; three nephews Jerry Cunningham of AR, Steve Cunningham of TX and Wesley Cunningham of Alex Bay; a niece Sheila Basinger of OK; 11 grandchildren Donald Frost, Kaitlyn Snow, Shelby Mendelzon & her husband Brant, Colton Tate, Zachary Prater, Brian Tate, Jacob Tate, Brandon Tate, Cheyene Snow, Logan Tate and LJ Krock; two great grandchildren Emma Tate & Michael Mendelzon along with many cousins.
Her husband Bird Sr.; a son Brian and a sister Sam Hamp predeceased her.
Pat was born on August 28, 1949 in Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Gardner & Erva (McLear) Dike. She attended schools in Manteca CA and later married Bird L. Tate Sr. in 1977. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in California for a period, and later relocated to Hammond NY where she and her husband owned and operated Hammond Propane until 2009.
