Funeral Services for Richard Roberts, 67, of Lisbon NY will be held at Fox & Murray Funeral Home; 528 Franklin St. Ogdensburg, NY on Saturday, May 04, 2019 at 1:00pm with Deacon Thomas Sharrow officiating. Richard passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, NY.
Calling hours will be also held on Saturday, May 04, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Ogdensburgh Cemetery at a later date.
Richard is survived by; mother Katherine Graffi; sister Katherine & Deacon Thomas Sharrow, brother Marty & Juanita Graffi, sister Rosemarie & Richard Primmer, sister Helen & Richard Horner, brother-in-law Ralph & Kathy Kitts and brother-in-law Michael Kitts; many dear nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Lois (Kitts) Roberts; father Edward Roberts; brother Edward Roberts.
Richard was born January 7, 1952 to Katherine Graffi and Edward Roberts in Watertown, NY. He graduated from Watertown High School and later attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He married Lois Kitts on June 23, 1990 in Watertown, NY. The couple came to settle in Lisbon, NY where they were employed together at Ogdensburg CRC and later at St. Lawrence University in the Food Service department. Richard was also employed at the Ogdensburg Walmart where he has been working for the last 20 years until becoming ill.
