Richard J. St. Germain

Private funeral services for Richard J. “Rick” St. Germain, age 56 of Ogdensburg, will be held at Foxwood Memorial Park. Rick passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday (April 25th) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center after being stricken at home.

Surviving is his wife Lisa; a daughter Elissa St. Germain & her Fiancée Shane Moyer of Evans Mills; brothers Jack (Pat) St. Germain of Knoxville IA, Dennis St. Germain of Ogdensburg and Dale (Sharon) St. Germain of Gaston, SC.

His two brothers Kevin & Robert St. Germain predeceased him.

Rick was born on March 3, 1962 in Ogdensburg NY, a son of the late Arnold C. & Elizabeth (Foxx) St. Germain. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and continued his education at SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton. On June 10, 1989 he married Lisa Johnson.

Rick was employed at Riverview Correctional Facility in Ogdensburg as a corrections officer and weapons training officer until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, watching SU Basketball and the NY Yankees, finding treasures at yard sales and collecting antiques.
