Born on July 17, 1968 in Big Spring, Texas, Rusty grew up with a strong work ethic and a sense of loyalty that carried him throughout his life. After graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1987 to 1989. Following his service, he devoted his career to electrical work, becoming a respected electrician who took pride in his craft. He was currently employed with the IBEW Local 640.
Rusty will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and the many passions that filled his life. He loved riding motorcycles, soaking up sunshine at the beach, listening to music, attending concerts, and taking long walks with his dogs. Some of his happiest moments were spent at camp along the St. Lawrence River, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the people he loved most. Above all, Rusty was a family man—steadfast, caring, and deeply devoted.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lawrence SPCA, honoring Rusty’s love for animals.
Rusty’s presence, laughter, and generous heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but the memories he leaves behind will forever be treasured.
