Surviving is her sister Kay Keefer of Watertown.
She was predeceased by her husband George Robinson Jr.; a nephew Michael Keefer; and a niece Lisa Cory.
Susan was born on January 15, 1949 in Alexandria VA, a daughter of Edward & Helen (Cook) Smith. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1967 and continued her education at Jefferson Community College and SUNY Potsdam receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Geology. She married George W. Robinson Jr. on August 15, 1971.
Susan was a member of the St. Lawrence County Rock & Mineral Club, the Remington Art Museum and the Manitic Art Association. Susan worked as a self-employed artist; assisted her husband for 15 years as a curator in Houghton, MI and Technological University. She enjoyed bird watching, visiting museums, hiking, mineral collecting and artwork.
