Thomas F. Crabbe

Thomas “Tommy” F. Crabbe, age 55 of Ogdensburg passed away at his home on Sept 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. There will be a Funeral Mass held at 10:00am on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be a Notre Dame Cemetery.

Born on March 24, 1967, in Watertown, he was the son of the late Robert Crabbe & Margaret Martin Wood. He graduated from Watertown High School 1988, followed on with NYSARC DayHab both in Watertown and Ogdensburg. He enjoyed going to “school”.

Tommy has 8 brothers and sisters. Michael and Mary Wood, Ogdensburg; Kevin and Sue Wood, Deferiet; Darla and Andreas Whitney, Phoenix, AZ; Robert and Rose Crabbe, Chicago, IL; Edward Crabbe, Black River; Kathy and William Windey, Castorland; and Marianne and Alicia Crabbe, Carthage. He also has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A brother Robert H. Wood predeceased him.

Tommy lived with his brother Mike & his wife Mary in Ogdensburg. He enjoyed helping with chores, and going to concerts, Special Olympics and most of all, Dodge Pond every summer. He loved watching sporting events, especially when his nieces and nephews were playing. He loved attending church. He looked forward to holidays, especially Christmas. And eating out was always fun for Tom. He loved to cheat at Tic Tac Toe. He liked swimming, air hockey, bowling and exercising to rock & roll music. Tommy’s favorite movie was Poltergeist. His favorite sport was basketball. He was quite the jokester. Hulk Hogan was his idol as he loved WWE wrestling.
