Anna was a longtime resident of El Reno, Oklahoma, before moving to Oklahoma City in 2006. Her early age of education was at Booker T. Washington School.
Her passion in life was caring for her family and going to what her daughter called “work”, which was BINGO. Her bingo buddies were Arnie, Gladys, Jenny, and Vivian. She was employed and retired from the nursing field at the age of 62.
Anna accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in El Reno, OK, and after moving to Oklahoma City, she united with Wildewood Baptist Church.
Anna Faye went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
Cherishing her memory are the survivors: her children, Marcus Stevenson & wife Sandra of Oklahoma City and Donna “Cookie” Anderson of Tacoma, WA; two brothers, Robert Nicholson & wife Joan and Charles Nicholson & wife Barbara, both of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many, many friends.
Anna’s parents; one brother, Lee Roy Nicholson, Jr.; and one grandson, Tremain Richey, preceded her in death.
