

Bryan went on to attend the University of Oklahoma on a wrestling scholarship, and was also a member of the ROTC. In 1953 he married Kathryn Crowder. During this time he continued training in Laredo where he would graduate his Air Training Command. Following his military graduation he was then stationed in Germany for 2 years, where he was the 12th Air Force Budget Director.
After his service in Air Force the two made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Bryan was the Chief of Administrative Service of the Tulsa City-County Library System. In 1958 his family grew with the birth of his first daughter, Julie.
In 1969 Bryan joined the staff of the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City where he took on the role of Business Manager. After several years of service at the Cowboy Hall of Fame he decided to open The Sutlery Gift Store at the museum, and went on to own several gift stores during his professional career. In 1983 Kathy, his wife of 30 years passed away. Following this difficult time, and through mutual friends, Bryan was introduced to Linda. The two were married in 1984 and spent 38 wonderful years together until his passing in 2023.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Linda Rayburn; Daughters, Julie Anderson and husband Eric, Tangi Christie and husband David, Trena Myers and husband Kelvin; Grandchildren, Katie Smith, Kristi Borjas, Kelsey Shelton, Falon Lloyd, Tayler Lieberz, and Aaron Lieberz; Great-grandchildren, Keegan Bass, Kamryn Bass, Khloe Bass, Alfonso “Fonzy” Borjas, Aidan Borjas, Avandar Borjas, Anna Borjas, Oliver Hanna, Oden Hanna, Alexa Lloyd, and Maci Lloyd.
A memorial service for Bryan will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park's Historic Cemetery Chapel, 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131.
