David Allen Dunford

David was a devoted husband to his wife, Johnni Rae Dunford, whom he married on February 28, 2004. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories.

For over 20 years, David was the owner and operator of Dunford Pools, where he built a reputation not only for his skill and dedication but for his kindness and genuine care for his customers. His work was a reflection of his character—hardworking, reliable, and always with a focus on making people’s lives better.

David was also a committed member of Vintage Church in Edmond, where his faith and community involvement were central to his life. Whether he was serving in church or sharing a kind word with a friend, his generosity of spirit touched many.

Beyond his professional and faith-based endeavors, David was passionate about scuba diving and traveling, always eager to explore new places and experiences. However, his greatest joy was being "Papa" to his grandchildren, a role he cherished deeply. He found immense happiness in spending time with them, teaching them, and creating lasting memories. His love for his family was his defining characteristic.

David’s warm heart, infectious smile, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his wife, Johnni; children; grandchildren; siblings; and a community of friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

He is survived by his wife Johnni Dunford; Daughters, Lauren Roybal and husband Brandon, Madison Dunford, Cassidy Pham and husband Alex; Step-son, Johnathan Sexton; Grandchildren, Kynleigh Dunford, Myles, Isabelle, and James Roybal; Parents, William and Dianna Dunford; Brother, Bill Dunford and wife Amy; Nephew, Bryan Dunford and wife Addison; Nephew, Devin Dunford and partner Abby Zoller; Great-nephew, Rhett Dunford; As well as many more nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Vintage Church in Edmond with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
