Don's Family would  like to thank you for your thoughts& memories about our dear brother. We re  happy that you saw him the way we saw him; a sweet, kind, caring, and generous man. His way of telling jokes & being friendly  was his way of trying to make people happy, & it worked. His love of music  gave him a song in his  heart & the words in his memory which kept him going.  He loved the guest singers & entertainers that came to Tealridge to brighten  someone's day, We know it did that for him.   Your kind & endearing words are  appreciated.

The world has lost a very special person.  We have so many happy memories of visiting Tealridge and catching up with Don and our dad Bill.  He always had the biggest smile on his face and his smile lit up the room.  Wherever you found one, you found the other.  They made so many happy memories together finding mischief and finding the fun together in every day that passed by.  God bless you Don for the happiness and joy you brought to all of our lives.  You told us once that it was easy to remember your last name because of Shakespeare's quote "Lead on McDuff!" There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that you are safe and well and at peace in heaven above, and we pray that we will see you there again one day.  As you always used to say "Lead on McDuff!" 

Mr. Don will truly be missed! His smiling face his Dr. Pepper and chocolate runs to Walgreens and the Dollar Tree! He always looked out for his other Tealridge family like they were his own! He was a special man and truly loved everyone! We will miss him ! Fly with the angels Sir! 

My name is pam pippin I work at Tealridge we’re Mr. Don stayed and days when I worked sometimes I could bring my Granddaughter Raegan became best friends she said!! Of course she would keep Mr.Don entertained for hours walking up and down the halls, walking around the building looking for rabbits and coloring,watching Barbie and other shows in the library!!and gave Raegan his undivided attention the whole entire day!!! They both loved each other beyond words and most of all he loved showering her with little gifts from the dollar tree!💖💖💖we will dearly miss MR. DON!!!!

Don was such a joy. The first time I met him was a little over 3 years ago. I loved to visit TR when there was any type of singing going on. Don's memory of song lyrics was impressive and he loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. We shared a love of sports, and especially Oklahoma State. I always thought due to his height he was probably a college player, but as I recall a conversation, I don't think he played in college. I'll miss him and I know my dad Bill will miss him, and their dear friend Bill as well. In addition, all of his friends at TR will miss his smile and warm voice.
