

Born to Alonzo and Attie Havens Kay on May 14, 1929, at Calvin, Oklahoma, passed away July 5, 2015 at age 86. Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Tom and Bill Kay; 2 sisters Lonnie Mouser and June Monahan; beloved son, Johnston Kay Dockrey; her children’s father Don L. Dockrey; husband Charles W. McLaughlin, and husband Dr. Lederle J. Scott. Imogene is survived by her son Donald Richard Dockrey and wife Agnes; daughter Diane Capps and husband Don; daughter-in-law Susan Dockrey; stepson Bill Scott and wife Jan; stepdaughter Margie McGuire and husband Kyle; 13 grandchildren: Rob Bright; Barbara Archuleta; Michelle Sims; Mandy Marino, Krystal Straley; Amber Blinco; Samantha, Angela and April Dockrey; Scottie Bryan; and Eric, Ben and Yale Scott; 21 great-grandchildren; her precious poodle Tasha; a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Imogene was a long time resident of Oklahoma City and Edmond and was active in the business and professional community for many years. Throughout her business career she maintained a reputation for high standards, hard work and a deep concern for client satisfaction. In her retirement years she pursued her interests in golf, sewing, quilting, reading, playing cards and volunteer work. She loved to cook and entertain her family and friends to whom her home was always open. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church. Her funeral will be held on July 15, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., 13313 N. Kelly in Edmond, Oklahoma, www.MemorialParkOKC.com.
