

Janice Rodgers-Hull, 84, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1941, in Oklahoma City to a family she loved deeply and remained connected to throughout her life.
Janice graduated from Northeast High School before continuing her education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman whose intelligence, professionalism, and attention to detail carried her through a successful career as an Administrative Secretary for Southwestern Bell.
Her remarkable clerical and typing skills also led to her being recruited into the United States Army Reserves, where she proudly served as a Sergeant First Class. Janice carried great pride in her military service and the opportunities it afforded her to serve others with discipline and excellence.
In June of 1980, Janice married Richard Hull. Together they built a life centered around family, friendship, and shared experiences.
Janice was an active member of the Daughters of the Nile and the Shriners organizations, where she enjoyed fellowship and giving back to her community. She also had a lifelong passion for animals and found great joy in caring for and loving them.
Above all else, Janice treasured her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hull and sister Debbie Shepherd. Janice is survived by her children, Shelley Stege, Kelley Beard, and Kevin Rodgers; her brother, Joe Putnam; and her beloved grandchildren, Harry Evan Stege, Garrett Stege, Grace Rodgers, and Ashley Rodgers. She leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
Janice will be remembered for her intelligence, dedication, strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and animals. Her legacy of service, kindness, and devotion will not be forgotten.
A Funeral Service will be held, 10:30am, Monday, May 11, 2026, at All Souls Episcopal Church, 6400 N Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116, US.
Catered Reception will take place at All Souls Episcopal Church, 6400 N Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116, US, immediately following the Funeral Service.
Burial will take place at 12:30pm, Monday, May 11, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, US.
