

Sue was born on was born on November 5th, 1932 in Oklahoma City to parents Noel David and Cecil Allene Harter. She grew up here in Oklahoma City, and went on to graduate from Central High School. Following graduation from Central High she held a career at the Oklahoma City Police Department for 10 years, retiring from the department to raise her children. In later years after the children grew up she pursued a new career path and became a Certified Medical Assistant, retiring from this career after 23 years of service. Going back to school and getting her certification as a Medical Assistant was one of her proudest accomplishments.
Sue was a member of AAMA, and was an active member of the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Treble Clefs. She also served as an Adjutant to the Civil Air Patrol. Sue had a love for fishing, camping, and all things outdoors. She also had a passion for traveling. Above all else, Mary Sue loved her family. Some of her proudest family moments were her 70 years of marriage to husband Cliff Norris, and the adoption of her son Michael and her daughter Susan.
Mary Sue was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Cliff Norris; Parents, Noel David and Cecil Allene Harter; Brothers, David and Pat Harter; and nephew, Todd Harter.
She is survived by her children, Mike Norris, and Susan Bailey and husband Joe; Grandchildren, Tyler Becannen and husband Daniel, Meghan Macy and husband James, Justin Thompson, and Nick Norris; as well as great-grandchildren, Austin Rose Brooks, Ireland Brooks, Angela Becannen, Jack Macy, and Josie Macy.
A visitation will be held for Mary Sue on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 from 8:00 – 9:30 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery.
