Phyllis Sadeghy, 88, of Edmond, Okla., passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, after a valiant battle with complications from diabetes. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.
Phyllis was born in Eastbourne England, (South Coast), to Richard and Charlotte Watkins. She was married to Nasser Sadeghy for 33 years until his death in March of 1985.
Phyllis spent over 20 years working at the Edmond Furniture Gallery in accounting. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, traveling, and working on puzzles. Her most precious memories were her times spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Bernie Watkins, Richard Watkins, and Ernie Watkins (Eastbourne, England). Phyllis is survived by her three children, Philip Sadeghy and wife, Pari of Edmond; Nasrin Juliet Ejlali and husband, Fred of Charleston S.C.; Nader Sadeghy and wife, Karen of Edmond; her seven grandchildren, Chris Sadeghy and wife, Shauna, Michael Sadeghy, Michelle Sadeghy, Alley Ejlali and wife, Pipes, Shervin Ejlali, Ryan Sadeghy, and Alexis Sadeghy; her four great-grandchildren, Arya, Benham, Noah Jane and Holden.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and gentle soul.
