

Raymond Russell Justice, 79, of Paola, Kansas passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met. Raymond was born on August 20, 1934 in Kahoka, Missouri to Ernest and Lily (Turtle) Justice. He attended and graduated from Kahoka High School class of 1952. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Raymond was originally from Edmond, Oklahoma. There he was a faithful member of the Masons, and the Kiwanis. He also served as a Boy Scout Leader.
Raymond married the love of his life Cleda Epps on January 9, 1975. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family and grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Cleda Justice of the home. Four daughters: Janette Barton and her husband Bryan of Derby, Kansas, Annette Bray and her husband Ben of Paola, Kansas, Shelley Tuttle of Bristow, Oklahoma, Teresa Absher of Edmond, Oklahoma, two sons: Michael Justice of Tampa, Florida, James R. Justice and his wife Cathy of Edmond, Oklahoma and left behind to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Melanie Thorne, Staci McLean , Mandy Vickers, Lauren Absher, Amy Tuttle, Luke Tuttle and Tyler Barton. He will be sadly missed by his five great grandchildren: Shaelyn McLean, Adaleyn McLean, Camden Thorne, Jot Thorne, Madison Fugate and Kaylee Vickers. Raymond is also survived by his sister Shirley Jean Haugen of Indianapolis, Indiana.
On behalf of Cleda and her family, they would like to extend a special thank you and their appreciation to all his doctors and to the staff at Black Hawk Assisted Living of Spring Hill, Kansas as well as Care Alternatives Hospice for the special care and attention they provided to her husband and their father during his stay.
Raymond was cremated according to his wishes.
